The BedRock's gonna be a good choice for you if you don't want to get a roof rack since that's gonna be up front on the top of your vehicle and it's not gonna be able to carry as much stuff since it has a lower weight capacity. And it's gonna be a great choice if you don't want to invest in a ladder rack since this is gonna be at a lower price point than a ladder rack. And it's gonna sit a little bit closer to your vehicle so it's not gonna take up as much room but you're still gonna be able to utilize the maximum amount of space for your bed. Hi everyone, Aiden here at Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule TracRac SR truck bed ladder rack with cantilever on our 2023 Ford F150. Now that's gonna be a really unique option because it's a very heavy duty ladder rack with tons of adjustability front to back, but that cantilever up front is the piece that extends over the cab, giving us more usable space and support for longer loads, whether it be a really long ladder, lumber, conduit, any sort of elongated items that we don't have room for in the truck bed, it can go above it and extend over the cab with that extra support, so everything is secure when they're going down the road. Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima OutPost HD Truck Bed Rack on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. This is gonna be a great option if you really wanna utilize all the space within your bed and then some more. You can put up some roof boxes or baskets or even a tent up top just so if you don't wanna reach over your roof to kind of pull anything off. So it'll be a great option if you wanna go over landing as well. This is a pretty heavy duty rack, it's actually constructed from aluminum, but it's still gonna have the ability that withstand 500 pounds on-road and 300 pounds off-road. Our HD crossbars are gonna be 68 inches and that's gonna fit really nicely on the Gladiator 'cause it's pretty flush with the vehicle. more

People start looking at truck bed racks like these when maybe their truck bed doesn't have enough space 'cause it already has cargo in it or maybe they wanna carry around other types of cool things while still keeping this area free and clear. Well, this is gonna be the Yakima OutPost which is a fixed height truck bed rack. It does sit a little bit closer to your truck bed but not too much where you still have space underneath. Hey, it's Ethan here at Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima Bedrock HD Truck Bed Rack on our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. It's gonna be a great way for you to get some larger accessories where you need 'em to go, but still make them accessible to you and not get them up so high that you can't reach them while still leaving you space in your bed to carry more gear so let's check it out. Right now we have this system working with our 78 inch crossbars, which gives us a good amount of room here, but it's still not gonna be enough that it exceeds the overall width of the vehicle. It stays within the mirrors, so as long as you know that your mirrors are getting clear wherever you're going through, the crossbars are clear as well. Taking a closer look at those crossbars, they are heavy duty, they are rated for off-road use as well. more

This is gonna be a fixed ladder rack system where you don't really get much height but you get a lot of stability and you still have extra cargo space. So good if you wanna open up your truck bed for other items. You want something that works with your toolbox but you also need to carry around maybe kayak, ladders or truck bed tent. This Sierra 3500 has the eight foot bed so you could definitely get away with a lower fixed rack system like this. If you have the shorter bed with the toolbox you might want to go over the cab, in that case definitely check out the Yakima OverHaul HD instead. more

This is gonna be a great option for you if you work in an industry where maybe you have to bring larger, longer loads with you more frequently, like ladders or lumber, or maybe on the sports and rec side of things, you wanna get a kayak up on your truck or you can lower it down in the case of the Xsporter so it can be more aerodynamic and you're gonna have more options of what you wanna load up in there. Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Yakima BedRock HD Truck Rack System on our 2022 Ford Maverick. So this is gonna be a pretty unique system. It's a good way to get some extra storage up above your truck bed, especially if you don't wanna mess with something like a ladder rack. Ladder racks are generally more expensive but also just a lot taller and especially if you don't get an adjustable ladder rack everything's gonna be pretty much designed for a mid-size or a full size pickup and it's maybe gonna look a little goofy on the Maverick and b, a little bit too tall for most accessories. Something like this gets it down really low and really manageable so if you've got something like a bike rack or a basket here for some extra storage, it's gonna be easy to reach and set up. more

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima BedRock truck bed rack system here on our 2020 Toyota Tundra. So this is gonna be a pretty cool way of really starting to maximize your guys' bed space that you have on the back of your truck by allowing you to go ahead and throw some of your cargo or other kinds of accessories here on the top of your bed, gaining you access to lead that bulky cargo underneath it. And again, just giving you a little bit more of a better cargo management system. What's gonna be excellent about these guys, we are only on a nice HD bar set, giving us very good support here, making it really solid and sturdy I really do like these HD bars you guys are probably seeing on that end, too. And nice little tie-off point to go ahead, start securing all of our cargo as well and we can kinda just use that to hold some of our bigger, bulkier cargo, which is really nice. Now the bars themselves are gonna be made of aluminum, however, it has a really good support structure throughout the entirety of it. more

Now, what's awesome about this rack as you can see is how it can carry everything you need on top and maximize your space, so you can also carry things inside your truck bed underneath. So as you can see, I can still reach up and over to put things inside the cargo basket, as well as it's a lot easier for me to mount a bike up there as compared to racks that might be a bit taller. Now, overall, a ladder rack itself is going to be a very functional thing to add to your truck, especially on something that's a Maverick. You've got a much smaller bed space here, so any way you can carry some extra stuff with you is gonna be very helpful. Now, if you're not gonna go in the bed or in the vehicle, the next best place is to move on up, whether that be a roof rack or a ladder rack. Now if you're looking at roof-mounted accessories, something like a kayak carrier, maybe a tent, you're gonna have a lot more options when it comes to a ladder rack because with it you're gonna get a boosted weight capacity compared to a roof rack. more

You might wanna use a ladder rack system like this in the event that you do have some longer loads like the ladder that we have loaded up here. Obviously as you can see, if we we're to try to put that in the bed, it wouldn't fit completely. So it's a way to get some longer things like ladders, maybe some lumber, or on the sports and rec side, if you wanna get a kayak up there and not have it take up the entire bed or hang off, have it secured down. Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra Y01151- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with "etrailer." Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul Adjustable Ladder Rack and seeing how it installs on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. So the way this mounts up is actually using our existing utility track system on our Tundra. So if you've got another Toyota truck or a Nissan truck this kit's gonna come with the adapter pieces to allow this to work with that track system, makes the install process very easy and maintains the full weight capacity. And like I mentioned before this is a height adjustable system, so from the top of the bed rail to the top of the crossbar it can be adjusted anywhere from 19 all the way up to 30 inches of height. We've got our set at 25 right now which gives us just enough clearance over the top of the cab. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima OverHaul HD Ladder Rack Adjustable System on our 2022 Ram 2500. You do have a pretty big bed on the 2500 here but if you're looking to transport some items that are maybe just a little bit too long like ladders, lumber, maybe even a couple kayaks, a ladder rack like this is gonna let you do that. This ladder rack is very versatile. It's able to support up to 500 pounds. It's also rated for off-road use but it will drop that weight rating down to 300 pounds and you can adjust the height according to what you need. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Ladder Rack on the back of our 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. Now the big benefit here is that it's aluminum. It's going to make that really lightweight so getting it in and out of the truck bed if we don't wanna leave it installed all the time it's gonna be really easy to do that even if you're doing it by yourself. And then with that, it's going to resist rust and corrosion over time much more than something like a powder coated steel would. more

This is going to be a fixed ladder rack system that can give us clearance up over the cab of our truck, and let us carry some elongated loads, whether that be ladders, lumber, kayaks, any sort of sports and rec things. Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods aluminum ladder rack and showing you how to install it on a 2022 Ford Maverick. Now, the Ford Maverick has a pretty short bed and that can be really nice for day-to-day driving when we're not using our truck for truck things, fitting in the parking spots and driving around. But if we ever want to carry anything that's longer than this 4 1/2 foot bed space, it can be really limiting. For anything like lumber, ladders, or maybe on the sports and rec side, we've got some kayaks. Having a way to carry those with our Maverick would be really great. more

Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Truck Ladder Rack Installation - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Flint Hill Goods aluminum ladder rack on our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. Just gonna be a great way to get some longer loads that you can't necessarily fit in your bed like this eight foot ladder that we have here or lumber or even maybe some kayaks if you have those to where you need to go. The rack itself is made of aluminum so it's relatively lightweight considering and it's able to support up to 400 pounds and holds the actual load in place by the load stops, the load stops themselves do rotate and slide up and down this track and then they rotate to the right clockwise to tighten in place. Some of the other load stops on different ladder racks have the ability to tighten them down at the bottom. These can be a little bit strange when you're actually tightening them up close to your load because they will actually be contact with it while you're trying to tighten them but they're okay overall. more

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're checking out the Yakima Bedrock Bedrail System on our 2022 RAM 1500. The bedrock system is gonna be adding rooftop rails to your bed rails, so that way you don't sacrifice your whole bed. It's still loaded with all your gear, and then put other accessories up top. If you wanna put a cargo carrier or some bike racks up here that either go around the bars or go in the T racks you can do that. The bedrock system utilizes the Yakima HD bars and they're gonna have a on road weight capacity of 300 pounds and an off-road weight capacity of 180 pounds. more

Pace Edwards UltraGroove Tonneau Cover Overland Truck Bed Rack Review- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Pace Edwards overlanding rack. Now, this is going to be a little bit shorter than a typical ladder rack. We don't have clearance over the cab of our truck here but it's gonna be great for tents and other rooftop accessories that we don't wanna lift up as high. And it's gonna put it a little bit lower, more accessible to us on the ground while still getting it up above our bed. Pace Edwards UltraGroove Tonneau Cover EL200 Ladder Rack Review- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Pace Edwards Ladder Rack System designed to be used with their Pace Edwards Ultra Groove Tonneau Covers and this is going to be a ladder rack great for carrying lumber, ladders, maybe some other recreational accessories like a kayak, a tent, maybe a bike rack. There's a lot of things you can do with this and it's all designed to do in tandem with having a tonneau cover so our bed can be covered up, we get that added fuel economy and security with all of our gear locked up inside and some of the oversized items like a kayak or a bike that might not fit well in here with the cover on top, so we can still carry it all and do it with ease as well. So right off the bat, up top you can see we're utilizing the tie down points on our end caps here. These are gonna give us points to hook a strap into like an S hook so we can get all of our gear secured. more

So my favorite thing about this rack system and what really sets it apart is that you're going to be able to use it in conjunction with your tonneau cover, and it's gonna work with most popular tonneau covers that are available today. And that's a really good thing because not only are you going to be able to use your rack system, but you're gonna be able to keep any items inside of your bed dry and secure, as opposed to many of the other types where you kind of have to choose one or the other. It's either you want your tonneau cover or your rack. This one gives you the opportunity to use both at the same time. more

Yakima OutPost HD Overland Truck Bed Rack Review - 2012 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today we have a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2,500 HD and we're enabling it to do a lot more with the Yakima OutPost Ladder Rack. One thing that Yakima wins overall when it comes to ladder racks are the bar sizes. So with these we can use a bunch of different types of accessories and they work because these cross bars aren't that big. The Thule options, sometimes those bars get a little too big so you wrap around or your clamp on accessories don't really wanna work. But any type of wraparound accessory like this with the steel bands that are coated in rubber will work. And then over here with our tent the clamp on style also works. more

Now, what makes this unique is that this ladder rack is designed to be used in tandem with select tonneau covers. We've got ours working with our RetraxPro XR hard tonneau cover here today. So, you can see, as I opened it up, everything's going to work together. We can still utilize this tonneau cover here. more

Yakima BedRock HD Truck Bed Cargo Rack Review - 2022 Ram 1500 Classic- Video
Today, we're upgrading our 2022 Ram 1500 Classic with my favorite accessory for the bed of your truck. It's the Yakima BedRock HD. Our bars are gonna be 78 inches long. So it's gonna give you a lot of room for a lot of different accessories. If you're doing the wraparound or clamp on style accessories, the width of the bar is gonna be three inches and the thickness is gonna be an inch and half. We've used a lot of the clamp systems from Yakima. more
